I’m Lise, a bespoke artisan and fine jewelry designer located in the heart of Sydney, Australia.
As a designer, my designs are both classic, contemporary, with a twist of uniqueness that makes each jewelry designed one of a kind special and stands out.
As an Australian jewelry designer, my jewellery designs are inspired by a love for the outdoors and nature, especially the beach! There have been many delightful childhood and family beach trips where I fondly remember watching the water and with it bringing a sense of happiness, calmness, and delightfulness that I have found nothing quiet replicates that feeling. For me, I would want the jewelry designs that I create to bring that same sense of awe and delight.
Seeing the sky light up at night with stars also inspires my creations. When you go camping in the great outdoors, away from all the city lights and buildings, the bush brings with it a sense of tranquility and at night the stars are so bright they pop in the dark. When I create my jewellery, I would want them to complement as well as ‘pop’ to make you shine bright just as you are.
For me jewelry design has always been my passion and creative outlet.
Although this was not always the case as a young teen and onwards, I did work in marketing, HR, dabble in a bit of law, then back to marketing. It was not until during my maternity leave and the pandemic lockdown where I had time to reflect that my creative pangs of designing was again calling to me and became my passion project which I love dearly.
Also, around the same time I was inspired by my aunty in the diamond trade industry where I learnt the ropes of the trade along with my designs to bring my creations to life.
My true calling of my creative outlet was awakened and I joined the family trade as a fine jewellery designer. I now passionately create jewelry from my studio where my heart sings when a design comes to fruition.
Possibly creating jewelry was always part of my destiny, and possibly too is your being here, now – amongst my virtual shelves.
